About Us
University of Toronto Engineering Toastmasters is one of the clubs in the Engineering Society. However, do not let this mislead you: we are open to all university students, staff and faculty. So whether you are studying life science, accounting or economics (or just teaching one of those subjects) you will be welcomed in our club.
Our club's purpose is to teach people about public speaking. Whether you want to ace a speaking assignment in class, give a presentation on behalf of your employer, or just deliver a heartwarming speech at your best friend's wedding, Toastmasters can help you learn the skills you need to do it.
